The good, the bad and the gnarly: stories from the path less traveled.
What happens when you don’t get it right the first time? Why take risks if you can’t see a clear reward? You better love what you do with every ounce of your being cuz guaranteed the moment you go down a bumpy road, or take a wrong turn, the hate will be there even more than the love shown during the best days of your career.
The athlete who hits a slump and can’t regain the fans trust, the musician who has huge success, followed by a flop and can’t get a call back from an agent or label. These things are real; they are each a real part of a hard, beaten path.
Our interviews will ask athletes, entrepreneurs, comedians, musicians, etc. about this very journey. They tell us their honest opinions on the bullshit of their industry as well as the highlights. What would they change about the path they took? If they could go back, would they have chosen something completely different? How did they get “there” and where are they going next? Despite their falters, why do they keep going back for more? Is it masochism or just a manifesto.
Hosted by Brian and Tara Byrne, this weekly 45 minute podcast will explore the rub, the friction, the whiplash between what you are doing, and what others expect you to do.
This is Brian Byrne’s Manifesto of Mistakes.
